My friend Bethany is white (and blond/very pale), her husband is black (and with a darker complexion than Donna’s husband); their son’s skin is maybe a shade darker than Bethany’s and his hair is pale brown. So … not likely, but not impossible?
I know it’s not genetically impossible - but given Moffat’s penchant for problematic fuckery, it comes off more as though they either forgot the continuity or didn’t care, and that really pisses me off.

It is a fan mix. Someone took images of Catherine Tate from the series finale of the Office to make this. So it has nothing to do with Moffat’s problematic fuckery, it’s just something someone made after seeing it in the episode of the Office.

Would someone, please, explain to me why John Hurt playing a “real” Ninth Doctor-assuming he actually is-is a bad thing. This series has constantly had producers trying to suggest that there were more Doctors, or there were mysteries in the Doctor’s past, but people are running around acting like Moffat is writing out Eccelston’s run instead of saying “hey guys, might be more going on than we know!”
Which, you know, Moffat actually isn’t doing. Even if we accept the Sun’s report, John Hurt is playing the Ninth Doctor, making every other Doctor since then the next one in line. This isn’t an assault on the canon status of the Ninth Doctor, for fuck’s sake. We don’t even know what it is yet.
